Factory exposure to the Korean company Samsung in Brazil to theft by
20 people, disguised as employees of the company, and succeeded in
seizing equipment worth 36 million dollars.
The incident occurred during a robbery on duty at night and there
were about 200 employees of Samsung, as the thieves managed to load the
trucks 7 smart phones and Tablet computers and laptops, according to
press reports.
And were able to control the plant after some of the staff were
detained as hostages, while the rest of the staff has not been able to
contact the police after he was removed batteries on their mobile
phones.
There have been no cases of infection among the staff, especially
because they emphasized the peaceful thieves and their determination not
to resort to violence.
The Brazilian authorities began an investigation into the incident,
which is believed to have been facilitated from within the plant, and
specifically from a person familiar with the full factory and helped
criminals to enter easily.
Pedroha and Samsung confirmed in a statement expressed deep concern
of the incident, adding: "Fortunately no one gets hurt, We will
cooperate fully with the police investigation, and we will do our best
to prevent such incident again."
